KEMPETRO Begins Employee Performance Assessment Cycle

Kempetro Engenharia started, on Monday (May 22), the Performance Evaluation of its Employees. The process, coordinated by the Human Resources (HR) sector in partnership with the Integrated Management System (SGI), aims to monitor the performance of all professionals working in the company and aims to identify team strengths, talents and potentials. as well as weaknesses and improvement, giving everyone a chance to grow.

The fully computerized evaluation tool available at SISCONIN was presented to leaders at a meeting led by CEO David Azevedo and HR consultant Norma Fontes. “The biggest assets of companies are employees. They are our biggest capital. We have to think of ways to improve their performance and develop them so that they can perpetuate the brand in the future. We may grow old, but not the company, ”said David.

In the first stage, the process is directed specifically to the team of leaders, consisting of board, managers, project coordinators and supervisors. In this phase, the self-assessment and evaluation by the immediate leader will be performed. “The proposal is for the other employees to be evaluated in the next stage, which is scheduled to start in September and end in November, thus closing the Kempetro team evaluation cycle,” said Norma.

The following aspects will be considered for leadership evaluation: Creativity and flexibility; Initiative; Persuasion; Entrepreneurship; Interpersonal relationship; Ethical behavior; Focus or orientation towards results; Global or systemic view of the organization; Self confidence; Leadership; and Discipline, among other competencies proper to the exercise of leadership.

After the evaluation phase and due records in the system, managers should meet with employees to present feedback to them, as well as outline action plans, indicating opportunities for improvement and / or development of competencies. “This is a moment of dialogue where the leader will give his impression of performance and potential,” said Norma.

Self-Assessment Period: May 22 – June 5, 2017;
Evaluation period: May 22 to June 30, 2017;
Feedback Meetings: Until July 31, 2017;
Cycle Closing Meeting and Results Presentation: August 4th, 2017.
