Kempetro Engenharia was present at Rio Oil & Gas, the largest meeting of oil and gas in Latin America, held between September 24 and 27, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). At the meeting, organized by the Brazilian Institute of Oil, Gas and Biofuels (IBP), the company had a booth, where it received customers and presented its ways of working for potential partners. Kempetro was represented by Managing Director Davi Azevedo and Commercial Director Hélvio Mesquita.
In its 19th edition, Rio Oil & Gas brought together companies and visitors from Brazil and the world. Director Davi Azevedo reaffirmed the importance of Kempetro’s participation in the event, which happens at a positive moment for the sector. “The outlook is for the industry to pick up again, following the recovery in oil prices and new auctions planned for this and next year,” said David.
Commercial Director Hélvio Mesquita highlighted the possibility of establishing contacts and achieving partnerships between national and international participants. “It was an opportunity to meet partners and enter into business agreements, which shows a path of no return for the company, with continued growth,” he said.
Rio Oil & Gas contemplated different thematic blocks, which addressed themes relevant to the sector: Exploration and Production, Downstream, Gas and Energy, Supply, Industry Management, and Digital Technologies. The event also raised the debate on sustainability, SMS (Health, Environment and Safety), certification, exploration and vocational training, all from the perspective and paths of the national and international oil and gas sector.
