The last Sunday, June 14th, was World Blood Donor Day. Kempetro also runs a campaign in favor of life and remembers that period of the year when the registrar usually uses falls in cases of blood banks. For this reason, this month is dedicated to the Junho Vermelho campaign, which registers the importance of donation, which is an act of love for others. You, a collaborator, can also be a donor.
For each bag of blood, four people can be saved, they can know who you are. The recommendation of the World Health Organization (WHO) is that each country has between 3% and 5% of its frequent blood donor population. In Brazil, the index stands at 1.8%, while in some European countries, around 7%.
In this moment of a new coronavirus pandemic, to prevent agglomerations and make security safe, the Hemoba Foundation is scheduling donations through the website hemoba.ba.gov.br, through registration, or, if you prefer, sending an email to horamarcada@hemoba.ba.gov.br. Favorable donor conditions
• Be in good health;
• Have been fed at least three hours before donation;
• be aged between 16 and 69 years;
• Weigh more than 50 kilos;
• Sleep at least four hours before donation and be rested.
