ORION Project / BRASKEM

Total of 82,580 M/H, including all the areas involved: Coordination, Process, Piping, Instrumentation, Civil, Mechanical (rotary), Boiler work, Electrics and Automation

2-year project, from the beginning of the detailing up to the plant start up

  • Quick response to Braskem’s emergency solutions;
  • Support to the construction and assembly with qualified professionals of the disciplines of Process, Instrumentation and Piping, which minimized possible cost and schedule impacts due to assembly errors, providing practical and fast solutions on the field;
  • Follow-up of the renovation of the main tank of the project in Tegal (TQ-2101), with the elaboration of a technical specification of the modifications and the verification of the design made by the manufacturer of the equipment;
  • Part of the design included the reactivation of a plant that was idle and deteriorated. The piping team has provided effective solutions regarding the flexibility and support in critical cases;
  • The piping was also involved in the elaboration of sketches for lines that were unduly disassembled and were necessary for the project, on the field and during the construction and assembly phase;
  • The qualified Instrumentation team was able to provide quick solutions to emergency situations, quickly consolidating Technical Opinions of complex instruments;
  • The Civil Engineering team proposed aerial crossing with full-core beam and truss structure, leading to a significant reduction of the weight of the structure, for the design in Tegal;
  • The Mechanical Engineering team prepared an MR and Technical Opinion of important items, which should have been purchased by Braskem’s Maintenance department;
  • Efficient Process team, with constant customer service and attentive to the modifications of the Design.
